Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 30, 2026
1. Who we are
This Cookie Policy explains how the preveni.com.br website, operated by Preveni Desenvolvimento de Sistemas Ltda. (company ID (CNPJ) 35.502.256/0001-81), uses cookies and similar technologies. For questions about privacy and personal data, write to dpo@preveni.com.br or see the Privacy Policy.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored by your browser to remember preferences and support the operation and measurement of the website. There are also similar technologies, such as local storage (localStorage) and pixels. In this text, we use "cookies" to cover all of them.
3. How we use them: the categories in our notice
When you visit the website, you choose in the privacy notice what you authorize. The categories are exactly those in the notice:
- Necessary (always on): keep the website running securely and store your consent choice. Legal basis: performance of a contract and legitimate interest (art. 7, V and IX, of the LGPD, Brazil's data protection law).
- Usage analytics (only with your consent): Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, to measure navigation, understand how pages are used and improve the website. Legal basis: consent (art. 7, I).
- Marketing (only with your consent): Meta Pixel, to measure campaigns and show more relevant ads. Legal basis: consent (art. 7, I).
4. Our own measurement, without cookies
Beyond the categories above, we use an in-house statistics tool, hosted by us. It does not use cookies and we do not store your IP address.
For each visit we store a record with: the page visited, the traffic source, the approximate country, state and city, the time, the device type, the browser and the time spent. We also classify the visit as human or automated, so that bots are not counted in the statistics. When you reach the website through a Google ad, we also store that click's identifier so we know which ads bring visits — it stays in your browser only while the tab is open.
To count how many different people visited the website in a day, we generate a scrambled code from your IP address and your browser. That code changes every day: visits on the same day count as a single visitor and, the next day, the code is different. These records contain neither your name nor your IP address. We do not build behavioral profiles, we do not follow you across other websites and we do not share these records with third parties.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 7, IX). Because it does not use cookies, this measurement works regardless of your choice in the notice — and you can object at any time: open any page of the website with ?noanalytics=1 at the end of the address and we stop measuring in that browser (to remember this, we store a flag there called preveni_no_analytics). You can also write to dpo@preveni.com.br.

6. Consent and managing preferences
On your first visit we show a notice with the options to accept, reject or customize by category. You can change your choice at any time through the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page. Your choice is stored in your browser and we ask you to renew it every 12 months, or sooner if the categories change. You can also delete cookies directly in your browser.
7. Sharing and international transfers
Data collected through cookies is processed by the vendors listed in the table in section 5 (Google, Microsoft, Meta and Cloudflare), in addition to HubSpot for the business relationship through forms. Some of them process data outside Brazil; in those cases, the transfer follows art. 33 of the LGPD, with appropriate contractual and technical safeguards.
8. Retention
Each cookie lasts for the period stated in the table in section 5, or until you delete it in your browser. Records of your consent decision may be kept for up to 5 years, as evidence. The audience records described in section 4 are kept indefinitely, for historical comparison of the website's audience.
9. Your rights
You may withdraw your consent at any time through the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer, and exercise your other LGPD rights (access, correction, deletion, portability, information about sharing) through the Personal Data Request Form or by email at dpo@preveni.com.br. The full list of rights is in the Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect technical or legal changes. The update date appears at the top of the document; relevant changes will be announced on the website.
